Dr. Kang is one of the most caring, respectful, and knowledgeable doctors I know. As someone who has had a lot of dental anxiety before, I now find myself looking forward to my dental visits.

Love Dr. Kang, his expert care and gentleness (very important for me because I had a traumatic experience with my dentist when I was a child – dentist would slap me when I’d start to cry… then bring me to a room before the waiting room where my mom was – and in that in between room there were 2 drawers, 1 with small toys and another with candy! which would make me forget about the slap. Mom didn’t know about the abuse till after 2 years! So very grateful for Dr. Kang. I just wish bridges weren’t so expensive.

So when I got my first wisdom tooth pulled out at a different dental office, I was absolutely mortified and traumatized and said ‘that’s it, I’m never going to dentist again’. And that was 4-5 years ago. Then unfortunately one of my other wisdom tooth started to hurt badly. And I was driving I happened to see Apple Tree dental that accepts medi-cal! So I said alright let’s see, gave em a call, and made an appt for the very next day. Upon my arrival, the dental assistants were so kind and quick to take my X-rays and have me finish my paperwork and just like that they said they had an opening in 2 hours remove two of my wisdom teeth. Not going to lie I thought it’d take days!! So I come in for my appt and the doctor was just so gentle and kind and he takes things SLOW which I like. And best of all they actually apply numbing cream prior to the shot which helped EXPONENTIALLY! So over all 10/10. I have to go back soon anyways to take out my last wisdom tooth and I’m actually NOT terrified to my core!
