Love Dr. Kang, his expert care and gentleness (very important for me because I had a traumatic experience with my dentist when I was a child - dentist would slap me when I’d start to cry… then bring me to a room before the waiting room where my mom was - and in that in between room there were 2 drawers, 1 with small toys and another with candy! which would make me forget about the slap. Mom didn’t know about the abuse till after 2 years! So very grateful for Dr. Kang. I just wish bridges weren’t so expensive.

I must say, all the staff here are incredibly friendly, and Dr. Kang is exceptionally patient and gentle. It makes each dental visit so much less stressful. I used to dread going to the dentist, but thanks to Dr. Kang and the lovely staff, I now actually look forward to my dental appointments.

So when I got my first wisdom tooth pulled out at a different dental office, I was absolutely mortified and traumatized and said ‘that’s it, I’m never going to dentist again’. And that was 4-5 years ago. Then unfortunately one of my other wisdom tooth started to hurt badly. And I was driving I happened to see Apple Tree dental that accepts medi-cal! So I said alright let’s see, gave em a call, and made an appt for the very next day. Upon my arrival, the dental assistants were so kind and quick to take my X-rays and have me finish my paperwork and just like that they said they had an opening in 2 hours remove two of my wisdom teeth. Not going to lie I thought it’d take days!! So I come in for my appt and the doctor was just so gentle and kind and he takes things SLOW which I like. And best of all they actually apply numbing cream prior to the shot which helped EXPONENTIALLY! So over all 10/10. I have to go back soon anyways to take out my last wisdom tooth and I’m actually NOT terrified to my core!

Dr Kang and his team were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful at answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I went there when they were closing and I still received the best attentive care and patience from them. I highly recommend this office as not only you will receive high quality customer service and professionalism but also a very nice warm welcoming!
